Questions about the CreditBadge
The CreditBadge (German: BonitätsLabel) is an interactive proof of your company’s creditworthiness.
With it, your business partners and customers have several ways to view your creditworthiness free of charge. For example, they can scan the QR code displayed at your point of sale (POS) or on your printed materials. Alternatively, they can access your digital CreditBadge directly on your website or view your creditworthiness in any KSV1870 credit report available to KSV members via the My KSV portal.
The CreditBadge costs EUR 420 per year excl. 20% VAT.
The CreditBadge is valid for 12 months. It is automatically extended by a further 12 months if not cancelled.
After ordering the CreditBadge, you will receive your personal CreditBadge with your QR code and the corresponding link. Additionally. you will receive tips for implementation at the POS, on printed materials, digital channels, and on business cards and email signatures.
As a bonus, you will also receive a free A4 acrylic display with your individual QR code by mail.
Your customers or business partners have several ways to view your company’s creditworthiness:
- Individuals and businesses can scan the QR code that you display at your point of sale and on printed materials. By clicking the link, your company’s KSV1870 rating is displayed directly on their mobile phone at no cost. You can also display the CreditBadge on your website or within your digital order process, and your customers will immediately see your KSV1870 rating in real time.
- Companies with a KSV1870 membership can access any KSV1870 credit report about your company free of charge via the My KSV portal, as long as your CreditBadge is active. The amount will be deducted from the monthly invoice.
When scanning the QR code or clicking on the digital CreditBadge, users can view your company’s name, headquarters address, KSV1870 rating, and risk classification.
A KSV1870 member can access any available information about your company free of charge through the My KSV portal. The amount will be deducted from the monthly invoice.
We will contact you immediately after you place your order and regularly thereafter. You can also send us updated information at any time. This ensures that your company information is always up to date.

If your credit rating changes, you will receive a notification from us in advance. By submitting the relevant documents, we can reassess your company, potentially improving your credit rating.
During challenging times, there might be a decline in creditworthiness. The CreditBadge remains valid regardless of your company's credit rating. You decide whether you want to continue presenting it to your customers.
The CreditBadge can be terminated by sending an e-mail to ksv.infoauftraege@ksv.at at least 4 weeks before it expires.
Early termination can be taken into account, but in this case no aliquot refund can be made.
Remove the CreditBadge from your documents, showroom, or website to avoid customers accessing an invalid page.
